From 1977 to 1980, there was a band called Cardiac Arrest.
Based in Kingston, Surrey, they went through several changes
through these short years, recorded a 7 inch single and a cassette album,
played several concerts on the pub and club circuit, mostly around the Kingston
area.
After a while, they changed their name briefly to "The Obvious
Identity", then "The Alphabet", before settling on
CARDIACS
but that's another story...
These pages are a sorry attempt to document at least a little
of what happened here through pictures and some words.

There is apparently some video footage of the show at the Coronation Hall,
Surbiton in July 1979, where
Cardiac Arrest were playing with THE DIALS and THE WARDENS.
Does anyone know somebody with a copy, audio or video? No matter
how bad the quality is, please contact me if you do.
